GREATER CAPITAL DISTRICT…EASTERN CATSKILLS…NORTHERN AND
CENTRAL TACONICS…AND WESTERN NEW ENGLAND EXCLUDING THE
SOUTHERN LITCHFIELD HILLS.

* HAZARD TYPES…SNOW…SLEET AND FREEZING RAIN.

* ACCUMULATIONS…RANGING FROM 1 TO 4 INCHES OF SNOW AND SLEET IN
VALLEY AREAS WITH 3 TO 6 INCHES OF ACCUMULATION ACROSS THE
HIGHER TERRAIN. ICE ACCRETION OF UP TO A TENTH OF AN INCH
POSSIBLE…EXCEPT UP TO A QUARTER OF AN INCH POSSIBLE ACROSS THE
MOHAWK VALLEY AND SOUTHERN GREEN MOUNTAINS.

* TIMING…THROUGH THIS MORNING. THE PRECIPITATION IS EXPECTED
TO GRADUALLY CHANGE TO RAIN FROM SOUTHWEST TO NORTHEAST AS THE
MORNING PROGRESSES.

* IMPACTS…HAZARDOUS TRAVEL CONDITIONS ESPECIALLY DURING THE
MORNING COMMUTE.

* WINDS…EAST TO NORTHEAST 10 TO 20 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 50 MPH
OVER THE NORTHERN BERKSHIRES AND SOUTHERN GREEN MOUNTAINS.

* TEMPERATURES…RISING INTO THE MID TO UPPER 30S BY NOON.
